Another Platy filled year!

Hey Platy-people! What's your New Years Resolution, mine's to be super awesome! Today's New Years Eve, so i've decided to break out the awesome party sauce! First things first, i need to do some really spiffy rambling (like always!) so get ready for rambling in 5... 4.... 3... 2..... 1....

Okay, 1st, i'll discuss PAPER! So you know how some of you have moms who like to scrapbook? Yeah, well i do. And i was cutting out shapes with the little shape cutters, and before you know it, i had drawn a face, on a paper star, and then a STAR was born! Literally! So Star Buddy and Pickles became friends, and then i thought, "what if something happened to Star Buddy?!" the thought worried me, after all paper is very fragile. So i got some clear packing tape, and sandwhiched him in between, sticky sides touching, smoothed it out, and cut off most of the tape hanging off the sides, and VIOLA! He was indistructable! (Sort of..) He's now water resistant, bend resistant, cat resistant, evil slime monster resistant, well, you get the idea!

Okay, still on the topic of paper, lets make party hats! Since todays New Years Eve, you know you need party hats to umm well, party, and since we dont have any, why not make some?!

Materials

Paper (12"x18 is best)

glue

scissors

Use the 12" side as the height and the 18" to go around the head. To make the cone shape, draw a wide triangle, then change the bottom from a straight line to a curved shape.

You may want to experiment using newspaper to get the shape right.

Use whatever craft material you have on hand for the children to decorate the party hats.

While the party hats are drying, put a line of white glue down one side of the triangle. Then rolled it into a cone shape. Use a paper clip on the top and bottom to hold it together until the glue dries. Then decorate until your heart's content!

Okay, now im gonna change the subject to delicious cold drinks, I love Slurpees but since we arent gonna go buy one late tonight, why not try to have something like it ready for tonight?! This is my own recipe! First, get some juice or soda, put it into cups, and stick them in the freezer for a couple hours, once its getting later and you want to pump up the party with delicious coldness, take them out of the freezer, and dump into a blender, they get like giant ice cubes, so you might have to use a spoon, or run the side of the cup under hot water, add a little extra of the same juice/soda (non-frozen) and blend until a slushie texture! Pour into awesome cups, and drink up! Cheers!

That's all the rambling for now, I have to let you rest your minds from my rambling sometimes, don't i?

Platy-Painting! part 2!

Yes! Finally it let me post my platy-painting!

I also drew this: a sad little platypup(baby platy),who looks like he just fell down, or dropped his ice cream cone or something, so he needs a hug :3

Platy-Painting!

Today, i decided to do some painting, and of course, i did a platypus. A platypus on the moon, wearing a viking hat, with a mustache(the platy not the hat), holding a lightsaber! And don't forget the awesome little Platy-Martians! In the distance you can see his space ship, which happens to be shaped like an egg. Well i WOULD show it, but once again, my computer is being a meany! So for now, just try to envision it.. So to make it up to you, i will tell you how to make a mini hersheys kiss for your platypus, Step 1, get a hershey kiss wrapper or some tin foil(if you use tin foil use a piece about the size of a hershey kiss wrapper) Roll it into a sphere-like shape, Pinch the top, and flatten the bottom against your hand or a hard surface, Pinch it until satisfied with the shape, then present to a small platypus or flatypus!

As you can see, KP is in the Christmas spirit, So in the spirit of Christmas, I present to you, the Santa Tracker! It also has a countdown clock, but that clock counts down to Christmas EVE not Christmas Day...

Agent P vs. Doofenshirtz

Once upon a time there was a platypus named Perry. He was with the Flynn Fletcher family with his two owners, Phineas Flynn and Ferb Fletcher. “Hey where’s Perry?” Phineas said to Ferb. Then Perry hid behind their house, put on his secret agent hat and turned in to Agent P when he talked to Major Monogram. “Good Morning Agent P” said Major Monogram. “Dr. Doofenschmirtz is at it again. On second thought, he’s created an inator that will destroy anyone who can’t make up their minds. Good luck Agent P! Monogram out! Carl, you know in five seconds I’ll be going to work. So don’t be clumsy.” “Sorry sir!” said Carl. Agent P ran to Doofenschmirtz Evil Inc. He broke through his wall. “Ahhhhh, Perry the Platypus” said Doofenschmirtz in his silly voice. “Your timing is impossible, and by impossible I mean…. COMPLETELY IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!” He pressed a button and trapped Perry in a giant cage shaped like a ball. “So Perry the Platypus let me show you my inator. The Make up Your Mind Inator! You know when you’re waiting to order a pizza and the person in front of you can’t decide on a topping? You see Perry the Platypus I was walking to Doofenschmirtz Evil Inc. when I started thinking of an inator I couldn’t find which one. Ugh, I hate it, I hate it. So I will destroy anyone who can’t make up their minds!” Perry was scared because he remembered that Phineas and Ferb couldn’t make up their minds. That they were either going to build a submarine or the incredible shrinking ray. So he was scared that Doofenschmirtz would destroy them. “Ferb and I can’t seem to make up our minds” Phineas had said. So Perry escaped with his saw. “Should I call it Make Up Your Mind Inator or is that too on the nose. You know, I can’t make up my mind.” Doofenschimirtz said. Then Perry kicked him right in the nose. “Thanks for the headache!” Doofenschirmtz said sarcastically. Perry kicked him right in the hair. “Thanks for the face ache!” Doofenschmirtz said. Perry grabbed some handcuffs and put them on Doofenschmirtz’s left hand. “Well I did not see that coming” Doofenschmirtz said. Perry trapped him on a bar, and grabbed his phone. “Calling headquarters, huh?” Doofenschmirtz asked. “Now I need to return your trap”. So then Major Monogram appeared on the phone. “Agent P, what’s wrong?” Monogram asked. “Oh, you caught Doofenschmirtz. That’s weird, usually he traps you then you escape and….” We mixed it up a little!” Doofenschmirtz said. “Hold on Agent P! Backup is on the way. It would be if we had some, uhhh…. I’m going to make some calls.” said Monogram with a beeping noise. “This backup of yours is taking forever!” said Doofenschmirtz. “I have a travel chess set in my bag over there. Do you play chess? Over there actually.” As Perry kicked Doofenschmirtz. BAM! POW! KABOOM! ZAP! BLAM! “Ughhh….” Doofenschmirtz cried. “Curse you Perry the Platypus!!!!!” shouted Doofenschmirtz. Agent P changed back into Perry the Platypus. “Gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr” Perry said. “Oh there you are Perry” said Phineas. Candace and Mom came over to the backyard. “See Mom! There Mom! Look at the giant rope jumping robot that Phineas and Ferb made!” Candace said. “What giant rope jumping robot? Mom asked. She saw Phineas and Ferb in the backyard. “Hi Mom!” Phineas said. “Hi boys!” Mom said back to them. “But… But… But…. But… It was right there! But… But.. But... But… But….. But…..” Candace said. “No buts Candace!” Mom said. “Ughh…….” Candace said as she fell down on the ground. “You know Ferb, Perry’s used to being a platypus. He doesn’t do much.” Phineas said. “You know what they say. Platypuses are the only mammals to lay eggs.” Ferb said. “So maybe he’ll lay an egg.” Phineas said. KABOOM! Doofenschmirtz Evil Inc. blew up! “Mom!” shouted Candace. “Give it a rest Candace!” Mom said. Back at Doofenschmirtz Evil Inc., Doofenschmirtz was tired and his inator was destroyed. “Ugh!” Doofenschmirtz said as he threw his inator in the vacuum cleaner factory. The building across town with the giant vacuum on the top of it. Man, you can’t believe that place is closed.

Papaya’s American Adventure!

Once upon a time, in Africa, Papaya the platypus was minding her own business, just eating some bacon and cheese soup (a.k.a. platypi soup) when she heard a large noise. She waddled out of her mud hut to the dock where there were lots of people with little boxes that flashed when they pressed a button. She soon found out that the boxes were called ‘cameras’, and that the large noise was a ‘toot’ from a large thing called a ‘boat’. She saw everyone get on the boat and heard it was going to Orlando, Florida. Papaya thought for a minute and decided to get on the boat and go to Orlando. She waddled onto the deck of the boat and soon found a small empty cabin with a nice big bed. She hopped on the bed and found something called a ‘pillow mint’ and she ate it. Then she decided to take a nap until she reached Orlando. When she woke up she heard another toot from the boat and waddled out to the deck and saw people getting off the boat. She decided to get off the boat and found out she was in Orlando! She waddled quickly off of the boat and saw lots of palm trees and planes flying in the air. Then she saw a bus with a picture of a castle and fireworks on it. Papaya quickly decided she wanted to go to the castle and live there. When she found the signs that said Magic Kingdom, she decided to follow them. When she was walking by the cars, a car hit her! But instead of being hurt she had bounced! When the car hit her, she was flying! She was suddenly falling over a neighborhood with dozens of houses. She then fell on the grass in a backyard of a house. She saw a big pool connected to a house. She then heard a tiny cry. “Help!” she heard someone say from the pool. Papaya then saw a tiny platypus floating in the pool, who was very frightened. Papaya dove into the pool and saved the platypus, then sat the platypus down out of the pool. Papaya asked what the platypuses name was, his name was Pickles. He explained that he had gotten lost from his owner and that he was very scared and started to yell for help. Pickles then told her that his owner, Chloe, was swimming and lost Pickles in to pool. Papaya told him that chances were his owner was just inside. After Pickles had calmed down, Papaya then explained that she was trying to go to the Magic Kingdom. Pickles then told her about the Magic Kingdom, that it was a magical place that people had fun at and rode rides and met characters like Mickey Mouse.Then they started talking about many things, like all the kids that came to the pool and other platypuses named Pedro, Perriwinkle, Poncho, Peanut Butter Cup, Pizza, Peanut, Panara, that were friends of Pickles and so much more. Then a girl came out to the pool and found Pickles and Papaya sitting next to the pool and hugged Pickles, the girl was the owner of Pickles, Chloe. Chloe then took Papaya in to the house along with Pickles, Pickles then winked at Papaya. Soon enough, Papaya was cleaned along with Pickles and set in a big room and met all the other platypuses. Papaya was told that soon enough she would meet Peanut Butter Cup, Pizza, and Panara when they went over to Chloe’s friend’s house. Papaya then was told she would get to go to the Magic Kingdom soon enough. Papaya had found a home, that she was going to stay in forever.

A Day with Perry

Once upon a platypus, there was a platypus. The platypus was named Pistachio. Pistachio was bored. So, he decided to go to his friend, Perry the Platypus’ house, and decided to spend a day with him. Unfortunately, Perry had to work and go ruin Doofenshritz’ evil plan. Perry took Pistachio with him. After talking with Major Monogram, they reached Doofenshritz who had just finishing creating a “Clockinator”, as he called it. The Clockinator could turn any head into a clock!!! When they first arrived, Doofensmritz trapped them in a wire cage with some acorns. Then, a magical squirrel came along and saw the acorns in the cage. The squirrel zapped them out of the cage and enjoyed the acorns. Perry kicked Doofenshritz and knocked him out of the building,where he landed in a giant chicken’s swimming pool.Then, Pistachio knocked the Clockinator off the ledge after Doofensmirtz. It zapped Doofenshritz on the way down and his head turned into a clock! The platypi did their funky platypi paw shake and went back home to enjoy the rest of their day.

Christms Countdown!

Tic Toc Tic Toc... Counting down to Christmas! Im SOOOOO excited about christmas this year! Looking forward to getting some pretty spiffy platypus stuff, eating good food, enjoying the holiday season(winter is my fav time of year cause of christmas & my b-day!!), and spending time with my family! ;) WOOO HOOOO!!!!!!! To help you countdown to this fantastical holiday, i present to you, A Christmas Countdown Clock!

Just to let you know, if your not counting hours then its one day extra, such as, today the clock says 15 days, but only because it counts hours, so if i were to come up and tell you only the amount of DAYS I would just say 16 days, do you get it?

Duct Tape Platy-Wallet!

HOORAY! Now i have a platy-themed place to store my mulah! Presenting: the platy-wallet! Made out of duct tape, this state of the art wallet will always make you feel happy!

I WOULD show you the pictures of this fantastical wallet, but my computer doesnt seem to want me too,(in other words its not letting me upload them) So i will have to try again tomorrow. At least that gives you time to imagine what it looks like :)

Poor little Staple-pus.... He doesn't even had a front paw, or an eye, or a beak! :( It makes me feel sad. Oh well.... Hopefully i can get more staples soon to finish the Staple-pus...

Perler Beads!

I like Perler Beads, you like Perler Beads(hopefully), he like Perler Beads, WE LIKE PERLER BEADS! So if you don't already know what perler beads are, you're probably wondering... Well, Perler Beads are little plastic beads the you put onto little pegs and iron. I have some and decided to use them to make a platypus... So if you have Perler Beads, then you must have the peg boards, for the platypus, you need to use the square.. Here is the pic of the design you put on the board..

and voila! a platypus! soon i shall post the design for hats for the platypus! :D
